At Little Butt Kind, we’re all about keeping things kind—for your baby, your budget, and the planet. Here's the lowdown on shipping, returns, and what to do if something’s not quite right.


🚚 Shipping

  • Processing Time: Orders are packed with love and shipped within 1–7 business days.

  • Shipping Rates: Flat rate or calculated at checkout (depending on your location). Free shipping may be available over a certain spend—check the banner at the top of our site for current offers.

  • Delivery Times: Vary based on where you are, but you’ll get tracking info to follow your fluffy mail every step of the way.

  • International Orders:Ā  Just note: customs/import duties may apply and are your responsibility.

šŸ”„ Returns & Exchanges

We totally get it—sometimes things just don’t work out.

  • Return Window: 30 days from delivery.

  • Condition: Items must be unwashed, unworn, and unused (unless they’re faulty).

  • To Start a Return: Email pippa@littlebuttkind.co.nz with your order number and reason for the return. We’ll take it from there.

  • Return Shipping: Paid by you unless the item is faulty.

  • Exchanges: Chat to me, I’m sure we can make something work šŸ™‚

🧾 Refunds

  • Once your return arrives and passes our inspection, we’ll refund you within 5 business days.

  • Refunds may have deductions for:

    • Original shipping cost

    • Payment processing fees

    • A small restocking/admin fee if needed

🚫 What Can’t Be Returned

  • Used items (unless faulty)

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalised items

šŸ¼ Cloth Nappy Guarantee

We want you to feel confident trying cloth.

šŸ’° Money-Back Trial

  • Trying cloth for the first time? You can return one used nappy within 30 days of delivery (or 30 days after baby’s birth if purchased during pregnancy).

  • For newborn nappies please chat to me – whatever guarantee is current on the newborn page will take precedence of anything here. We have a ā€œI’m so tired I don’t have time to brush my hairā€ guarantee here

  • All other items must be in unused condition for a refund.

🚫 No Red Marks Promise (Night Nappies)

Night nappies shouldn’t leave angry red marks. Please note – what we call ā€œsock marksā€ in the industry are very different but can be hard to tell the difference. Sock marks are not painful and are fine. Angry red marks are not!

  1. Email us clear photos + your order number within 30 days.

  2. We’ll suggest some fit tweaks first.

  3. Still no joy? Send it back (washed and clean) for a full refund.

This covers marks caused by fit—not skin sensitivity or sizing issues.

šŸ›”ļø 12-Month Warranty

We stand by our nappies—because your little one deserves the good stuff.

  • Covers: Faults like delaminated TPU, broken snaps/stitching, or absorbency issues.

  • Doesn’t Cover: General wear and tear, improper washing (like bleach), dryer damage, or DIY repairs.

  • Valid For: 12 months from purchase or your baby’s birth—whichever is later.

To Claim:

  1. Email pippa@littlebuttkind.co.nz with your order number + clear photos.

  2. We’ll assess and offer a replacement or store credit.

  3. If approved, we’ll cover shipping for your replacement item.

šŸ“¬ Missed or Returned Deliveries

If your parcel comes back to us due to an incorrect address or missed pickup, we’ll happily resend it—but re-shipping costs are on you. Double-check your details at checkout, and keep an eye on that tracking link!

šŸŽ Returns & Discounts

Returning part of a bundle or discounted order? If your return brings your order below a discount threshold (like free shipping or multi-buy deals), we may adjust your refund accordingly.
