I’m absorbent not waterproof

Hold me tight with a snappi or master the stretch and tuck method! Then cover me with something waterproof like a PUL, TPU or wooly cover.

Care for me but I’m just a nappy.. what’s the worst that can happen!

I dry uber uber quick  – but a hot dryer makes me pill pretty fast. Sadly, over time I pill anyway. Apparently, all fabrics shed fibres in the wash or in a drier due to friction, but stronger textiles hold onto them and wrap around each other (hence the pilling). My heart is a bit broken over this but you can’t have everything (dramatic I know), – hemp gets rough, bamboo shrinks, micro-fleece pills, and microfibre doesn’t seem to last. Our modal stays soft overtime, and super absorbent!! Given the nature of this system, over time snappi’s and pins can create small holes in the wings (cue crying face emoji), a few of mine have done this overtime. Wash me

Pre-wash. Wash. Dry. Wear. Repeat!

Pre-wash and wash in 40-60 degree temperatures. Dry me. Put me on a little butt! Repeat.

We love the clean cloth nappies website – some really clever people, doing really clever things in the cloth nappy washing space (who knew that was a thing). But they have help me and so many others successfully make the switch (cue applause).
